KING CASSIO

In 2007, he established K.I.N.G.S. Leadership Institute, Inc. a non-profit organization designed to improve the quality of life for young men and to assist them in making a positive transition to adulthood by understanding and embracing leadership, responsibility, and academic success. 

FAMILY

King Cassio lives in the Jackson Metro Area with his beautiful wife, Whitney Batteast, CEO of Pickles and Popsicles, Inc, and their 4 amazing children, Lyniss, Kynadie, Cassio II, and Afeni.

EDUCATION

King Cassio received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development from Tougaloo College & Master of Arts degree in Urban & Regional Planning (Community Development) from  Jackson State University.

LIFE MISSION

His life mission is to develop young black men into 21st-century leaders by exposing them to positive leadership models, equipping them to be spiritually grounded and empowering them to become competent leaders with a passion for lifelong learning.  Cassio fundamentally believe that all black boys are brilliant, beautiful and possess innate greatness.

COMMUNITY

Mr. Batteast has served over 1,000 children, 300 families and over 50 communities through these two efforts. Cassio has received local and national attention for his commitment to serving communities, families, and youth.
